fine 2s whereas at the last court it was found by the homage that Maud Rushey late the wife of Hen Pullen out of the court and before the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Jn Attewood one of the lord's tenants in the presence of Jn Pennock likewise the lord's tenant and other the same witnessing one tenement with a barn and garden adjoining and one croft of land with the appurtenances late parcel of Lowfield late Jn Penyles etc to the use and behoof of Robt Pullen her (sic) heirs and assigns on condition following viz that the foresaid Robt Pullen his heirs or assigns pay or cause to be paid to Wm Pullen brother of the foresaid Robt and Eliz and Mary Pullen sisters of the foresaid Robt 4li sterling viz to every of them 26s8d that then the foresaid surrender stand and remain in all his strength and effect otherwise it shall be void and of no force which Robt Pullen came not to the said last court to claim the said tenement and other the premises therefore it was respited even until this court as in the said last court more at large appeareth now to this court came the foresaid Robt Pullen by Edw Duke his attorney and craveth to be admitted to the foresaid tenement and other the premises according to the form and effect of the said surrender thereof made by the said Maud and because there was such a surrender presented by the homage at the last court therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to the hands of his said attorney to hold to the said Robt Pullen his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc on condition that the foresaid Robt Pullen his heirs or assigns pay or cause to be paid to the said Wm Pullen Eliz Pullen and Mary Pullen 4li sterling viz to either of them 26s8d as above etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
