Litmans and Gyffords etc Xfine 10s it is found by the homage that Alice Beald widow late the wife of Wm Beald deceased which held to her and her assigns during the term of her life of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one tenement called Lytmans and other tenement called Gyffords with a certain purpresture adjoining with the appurtenances sometime Robt Games and late Robt Bawd's as by the metes and bounds etc to remain after her decease to one Cecilie Beald singlewoman her heirs and assigns according to the tenor force form and effect of the last will of the said Wm deceased as in the leet with the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost in the 26Hen8 26.5.1534 more at large appears the foresaid Alice died since the last court of such estate seised and hereupon now to this court came the foresaid Cecilie now the wife of Robt Fooks and craveth to be admitted to the foresaid two tenements and other the premises by reason of the remainder aforesaid and because it is so found by the homage therefore she is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc according to the form and effect of the last will of the said Wm Beald deceased etc and she giveth fine etc and made fealty
