fine 5s it is found by the homage that Joan Bieston widow late the wife of Robt Bieston deceased who held to her and her assigns during the whole term of her life of the lord by the rod etc one tenement with a garden adjoining called Garlands lying in Colne aforesaid as by the metes and bounds etc to remain after her decease to Agnes daughter of the said Robt and her heirs as in the leet with the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost in the 38Hen8 15.6.1546 more plainly appears the foresaid Joan died since the last court of such estate seised and hereupon to this court came the foresaid Agnes and craved to be admitted to the foresaid tenement with the garden and the appurtenances by means of the remainder aforesaid and because it is so found by the homage therefore she is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her and her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc and she giveth fine etc and made fealty
