deceased which held to her and her assigns of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one cottage with a garden adjoining and the appurtenances during the term of her life lying in Colne aforesaid called

as by the metes and bounds etc to remain after her decease to
Marie
now the wife of
Thos Dering
and her heirs as in the leet with the court here holden on
tuesday in the week of pentecost in the 38Hen8 15.6.1546
more at large appears the foresaid
Agnes
died since the last court of such estate seised and hereupon to this court came the foresaid
Marie
and craved to be admitted to the foresaid cottage with the appurtenances by reason of the remainder aforesaid and because it is so found by the homage therefore she is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and she giveth fine and made fealty
