fine 4d it is found by the homage that Jn Roger which held to him and his heirs of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc 1r of land lying between the land called Heyhouse and the lord's park gate etc died since the last court of and in the foresaid 1r of land sole seised in his demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor etc and they say further that Agnes Roger of the age of 5yr and more is the daughter of the foresaid Jn and next heir thereunto and hath right to the foresaid 1r of land with the appurtenances who by Jn Michell her attorney came and craved to be admitted thereunto and because it is so found by the homage therefore she is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc on condition following that the profits and issues of the said 1r of land be yielded and bestowed at a potation in the second day in rogation week at the cross which standeth in the way leading to the lord's park and because the foresaid Agnes is under age as before therefore the custody as well of the body of the foresaid Agnes as of the foresaid 1r of land is committed to the foresaid Jn Mitchell to hold to him and his assigns until the foresaid Agnes come unto her full age and he giveth fine as well for such custody hereof to be had as for the said Agnes when she shall come to her full age as appears and her fealty thereof is respited until etc
