fine 5s4d it is found by the homage that Jn Roger who held to him and his heirs of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one croft of customary land with the appurtenances called Barcroft containing by estimation 6a of land and one croft of land with the appurtenances lying near the lord's park containing 4a2r of land called Parkefield as etc died since the last court of and in the premises sole seised in his demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor and they say further that Agnes Roger of the age of 5yr and more is the daughter of the said Jn and next heir thereunto who by Jn Michell her attorney came and craved to be admitted thereunto and because it is so found by the homage therefore she is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to the hands of her attorney aforesaid to hold to the same Agnes of the lord by the rod etc and because the foresaid Agnes is under age as before therefore the custody as well of the body of the said Agnes as of the lands aforesaid for divers considerations the court moving is committed to Jn Michell of Carryngdon executor of the last will and testament of the foresaid Jn Roger deceased to hold to him during the nonage of the said Agnes to which Jn Michell by the lord's steward there is possession thereof delivered to hold during the term aforesaid of the lord by the rod etc and the said Jn Michell giveth the lord for fine as well for such his custody thereof to be had as for the said Agnes when she shall come to her lawful age as appears and the fealty thereof is respited until etc
