to this court came Thos Allen and acknowledged himself to have received and had of Greg Garrard 8li6s8d viz for the purchase of one tenement called Murdons sometime Hen Layer's deceased and the half of one parcel of land called Tollehousegreene now builded on containing in length 6rods and in breadth 12ft as etc of which 8li6s8d the said Thos Allen confesseth himself to be fully paid and acquitteth the said Greg Garrard his heirs and executors thereof forever by these presents
