monday next after the feast of st andrew the apostle in the 3Edw6 etc 2.12.1549
seized 1r of land lying between the land of
Heyhouse
and the lord's park gate because nobody came after the death of one

late tenant thereof to claim the same as in the said court more plainly appears now at this court the seizure aforesaid notwithstanding at this present court it is certified to the court by

steward of the household and
Thos Allmotte
gentleman one of the lord's council that the lord's pl easure is such that

widow late wife of

deceased should have and hold the said rood of land during the whole term of her life to her and her assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the ancient rents therefore due and accustomed to the intent that the issues and profits thereof coming should yearly be yielded bestowed and expended at a potation# on the second day in the rogation week at the croft which standeth in the way leading towards the lord's park as before it hath been used upon a surrender thereof made by one

being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and she is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her and her assigns during the whole term of her life of the lord by the rod etc in form aforesaid to remain thence to the foresaid
