fine 6s8d | it is found by the homage that Joan Spycer of Earls Colne widow which held of the lord of this manor for term of her life two parcels of customary land called Chewniesland to remain after her decease to Thos Spycer of Melton in the county of Suffolk clerk his heirs and assigns being customary tenants of the manor out of court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Peerson Jn Warde and Adam Polley the lord's tenants the same witnessing all her estate term and interest in the foresaid two parcels of land containing 6a of land to the use and behoof of Agnes Bieston her heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted to the premises to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her her heirs and assigns by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and she giveth fine and made fealty and so she is admitted the lord's tenant |
