fine 25sit is found by the homage that Jn Culverton that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod etc one parcel of land containing by estimation 6a of land parcel of a certain field called Lowfield in Colne aforesaid containing by estimation 16a of land lying between the lord's meadow called Halle Meadowe of the one part and the common meadow leading from Colne aforesaid toward Tey of the other part as by the meets and bounds etc and also one croft containing by estimation 1r of land called Sandhills with appurtenances as by the meets and bounds etc as in the leet with the court here held on tuesday in the week of pentecost 26.5.2PhM more at large appears died of and in the foresaid parcel of land and other the premises with all and singular appurtenances sole seised in his demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore before due and of right accustomed and they say further that Thos Culverton is his son and next heir and hath right to the premises who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereunto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
