fine 3s4dit is found by the homage that Jn Culverton that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor 2r of land parcel of 2a of customary land lying under Colne Park between the land called Chewnesland toward the south and the meadow of Wm Fisher parcel of Heyhouse toward the north one head thereof abutting upon the meadow of Rich Smythe alias Orbell toward the west as by the meets and bounds etc died of such estate seised and they say further that Thos Culverton is his son and next heir and hath right to the premises who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereunto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
