fine 33s4dit is found by the homage that Jn Litle being very sick out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Lewice Jegon the bailiff in the presence of Robt Peerson and Thos Leffingwell the lord's tenants the same witnessing one chief messuage and two cottages or rentaries to the same chief messuage adjoining situate and lying at Colford Hill in Earls Colne aforesaid at the east side of a way there called Barkers Lane which messuage and cottage sometime were Wm Baxter's and late Jn Blewe's called Morses as by the meets and bounds etc to the use and behoof of Alice now the wife of Geo Hasset her heirs and assigns which Alice by Geo Hassett her attorney in this behalf came and according to the surrender aforesaid prayed to be ad mitted to the premises to whom by the hands of the said Geo her husband there was seisin thereof delivered to hold to her her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and she made fine and fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
