fine 20sit is found by the homage that Jn Litle that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor two cottages with appurtenances late Rich Filbrigg's as by the meets and bounds etc and one parcel of land called The Mellhill and one garden called Lophams containing 1r more or less lying against the said hill called The Mellhill as by the meets and bounds etc died since the last court of and in the foresaid two cottages and other the premises with all and singular the appurtenances sole seised in his demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor and they say further that Geof Litle son and heir of Rich Litle son and heir of the said Jn Litle deceased is cousin (grandson) and next heir of the said Jn and of the age of 21yrs and more to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc and he made fine and fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
