fine 5sto this court came Joan Turnor widow that held to her and her heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor one tenement or cottage with appurtenances called Brayes in Colne aforesaid as in a court roll bearing date on monday being 19.6.12Eliz1 and surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of his steward the said tenement or cottage with 21yd of a yard to the same belonging to the use and behoof of Joan Tracer and her heirs which Joan Tracer being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her and heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and she giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
