fine 20sit is found by the homage that Robt Reade that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor one messuage with a barn and garden adjoining customary with the appurtenances called Joldens lying in Colne aforesaid as by the meets and bounds etc as in a court roll bearing date 21.6.10Eliz1 more at large appears surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Lewice Jegon bailiff of the manor in the presence of Wm Bonner the lord's customary tenant the same witnessing the foresaid messuage and other the premises to the use and behoof of Thos Samsone and heirs who being present in court came and prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
