fine 20sit is found by the homage that Thos Sansome that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor one cottage with a garden adjoining and appurtenances called Clovyers as in the roll of the court here holden on monday being 1.10.13Eliz1 more at large appears out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Barth Churche instead of the bailiff in the presence of Rich Ennewes and Rich Leffingwell (sic) the lord's customary tenants the same witnessing to the use and behoof of Edw Turnor his heirs and assigns which Edw being present in court came and prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to have and to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore before due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
