fine 10sto this court came Lewice Jegon that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc the feed or pasture of one wood called Hansers Hedge lying and being in the parish of Earls Colne aforesaid as by the meets and bounds etc as by a certain copy bearing date on tuesday in the week of pentecost 11.6.3Edw6 more at large appears and surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of his steward the whole feed or pasture of the foresaid wood with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Robt Jollie his heirs and assigns which Robt being present in court came and prayed to be admitted thereunto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold the said feed or pasture of the said wood with appurtenances to the foresaid Robt Jollie his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the fealty rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
