fine 20sit is found by the homage that Sybill Chressener that held to her and her heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor one croft of land called Spoutecroft otherwise Rycroft containing by estimation 4a be it more or less as in the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost 2.6.20Hen8 more at large appears out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Nich Jonson instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Wm Wade the elder and Thos Alleyn the lord's customary tenants the same witnessing the foresaid croft of land with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Greg Garrard his heirs and assigns who being present in court came and prayed to be admitted thereunto to whom by the lord's steward because it is so found by the homage there is seisin thereof delivered by the rod to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the fealty rents and services therefore before due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
