fine 12dit is found by the homage that the foresaid Sibill Chressener that held to her her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor one parcel of the waste land as it lieth in the highway leading toward Coggishall lying over against the lord's park containing by estimation 1r of land one head whereof abutteth upon the lands late Jn Pecock's and since Jn Tillwick's as by the meets and bounds as in a certain roll of court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost 21.5.24Hen8 more at large appears out of court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Nich Johnson instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Wm Wade the elder and Thos Allen the lord's customary tenan ts the same witnessing the foresaid parcel of waste with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Greg Garrard his heirs and assigns which Greg being present in court came and prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward because it is found by the homage there is seisin thereof delivered by the rod to hold to him and his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the fealty rents and services therefore before due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
