fine 40sit is found by the homage that Hen Somersham that held to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor one tenement with the lands to the same belonging called Stacyes otherwise John Adams containing by estimation 15a of land as by the meets and bounds etc as in the court roll bearing date monday being 21.6.10Eliz1 more fully is contained out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Peerson instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Jn Parker and Jn Sparrowe the lord's customary tenants the same witnessing the foresaid tenement and 15a of land with appurtenances called Stacyes to the use and behoof of Margery Abraham now the wife of Rich Abraham and before the wife of the foresaid Hen and Jn Somersham son and heir of the same Hen to have and hold the same tenement and land to the same Margery and Jn for and during their lives and then to the heirs of the said Jn forever which Margery and Jn being present in court came and prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered by the rod to hold the same tenement and land to the same Margery and Jn and the heirs of the same Jn according to the force form and effect of the surrender aforesaid made by the foresaid Hen of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the fealty rents and services therefore before due and of right accustomed and they give fine and made fealty and are admitted the lord's tenants
