fine 13s4dit is found by the homage that Rich Ennowes that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord etc one cottage with a garden adjoining and the appurtenances called Beriffs alias John Wrights as in the roll of the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost 30.5.34Hen8 more at large appears out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Peerson instead of the bailiff in the presence of Barth Churche and Robt Reade the lord's customary tenants and others the same witnessing the foresaid garden with appurtenances to the intent that the lord being so thereof seised might regrant the said cottage and garden with appurtenances to the foresaid Rich Ennewes for and during the term of his life to remain when it shall happen by and after the death of the said Rich to one Rich Horsepette and Grace his wife for the term of their lives and the longer liver of them to remain when it shall happen by and after the death of Rich and Grace and the longer liver of them to Wm Innowes and Israel Innowes sons of one Robt Innowes and their heirs forever whereupon the lord being thereof so seised of his personal favour regranted the premises to the foresaid Rich Ennewes to have and to hold the same cottage and garden with appurtenances to the foresaid Rich Ennewes for the term of his life according to the force form and effect of the surrender aforesaid of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services of right due and accustomed saving the right etc and the foresaid Rich Ennewes giveth fine for such his estate thereof to be had and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
