Rich
and

were seised thereof in their demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor and jointly so thereof seised the said

Alice
survived him and held her self therein by the right accruing and since the said
Alice
died being thereof so seised after whose death the said cottage with garden adjoining with the appurtenances descended and of right ought to descend to one
Geo Hall
son and next heir of the said
Alice
yet the foresaid
Rich Hall
before his death as if he had been tenant sole seised thereof surrendered into the lord's hands the foresaid cottage with garden adjoining to the use and behoof of the foresaid
Alice
his wife for term of her life to remain after her decease to the foresaid

more at large appears and so died and a little after the said
Alice
his wife died also whereupon the said
Geo
at the same court was admitted the lord's tenant according to the form and effect of the surrender of the said
Rich Hall
his father whereas indeed the said
Rich
could by no means surrender the same premises because he was jointly seised with his wife as before appeareth now at this court it was found by the homage that the foresaid
Geo
that in his former estate remitted is admitted in his former estate and so thereof seised in his demesne as of fee out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of
Robt Reade
instead of the bailiff in the presence of

and
Rich Ennewes
the lord's customary tenants and others witnessing the foresaid cottage with the garden adjoining to the use and behoof of
