fine     Goolds waste at this court the lord by the advice of Israel Amyce esq his surveyor for the increase and recontinuance of the ancient rents and services of this manor heretofore decayed and at the special instance and request of the whole homage hath granted out of his hands to Jn Gold one parcel of waste containing 14p lying upon Hall Green between the customary land of Jn Polly of the east and the foresaid Hall Green of the west one head abutting upon the highway towards the south and the other head upon the churchyard towards the north to the intent that the said Jn Gold might build upon the same one cottage for his dwelling and by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered by the rod to have and to hold to the same Jn Gold for term of his life to remain after his decease to Agnes his wife for term of her life and to remain after her decease to the eldest son of Jn Gold for term of his life of the lord by the rod etc by the rent of 4d by the year and common suit at the court of that manor and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
