at this court Robt Reade bailiff of this manor gave the court understand that he by virtue of a precept to him directed at the last court hath seised into the lord's hands one grove called Curds Grove and one parcel of wood belonging to the tenement called Curds lying under the lord's park called Colne Park for that great waste was committed in destroying both the woods aforesaid and the bailiff charged that he keep the premises to the lord's use sufficiently enclosed as well the grove as the foresaid parcel of wood that it be not destroyed hereafter
