no fineat this court the lord sitting personally in the court at the instance and request of Lance Gylotte granted out of his hands to the same Lance one parcel of the waste of this manor upon which one house is now builded containing in length 7rod and a half and in breadth at one head 7rod and a half and at the other 5rod of land one head abutting toward the south east and the other toward the south west and lieth in length between the highway leading from Colne aforesaid toward Halstead on the north east side and the land of Thos Leffingwell toward the west and by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered by the rod to have and to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc renting therefore yearly to the lord and his heirs lord's of this manor 12d at the usual terms of the manor and one fat capon at new years day and doing fealty and common suit at the court of the same manor and he gave fine etc and made fealty etc
