it is found by the homage that Agnes Bieston widow that held to her and her heirs of the lord by the rod etc one croft of land with appurtenances called Pondecroft in Colne aforesaid died since the last court of and in the foresaid croft sole seised in her demesne as of fee etc and they say further that Wm Bieston is son and heir of the foresaid Agnes deceased and hath right to the premises who being present in the court came and prayed himself to be admitted thereto and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and so he is admitted the lord's tenant
