to this court came Thos Smythe son of Thos Smythe of Colne aforesaid tanner now being of full age viz 21yr and surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of his steward parcel of a certain barn late parcel of a messuage of the foresaid Thos Smythe the father called Morses as the foresaid barn lieth at the east end of the foresaid messuage and lately in the tenure of Rich Prentice deceased to the use and behoof of Margt Helen and Joan Prentice daughters of the said Rich Prentice deceased for and during the term of ten years next following after the death of the said Rich Prentice fully to be complete to remain after the said term of ten years to Albon and Jn Prentice two of the sons of the said Rich deceased and their heirs forever which Margt Helen and Joan by Jn Prentice their guardian came and pray themselves to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them the said Margt Helen and Joan for and during the said term of the said ten years to remain as before etc of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services and the foresaid Margt Helen and Joan give the lord a fine for their estate they have therein etc and their fealty is respited
