it is found by the homage that Rich Prentice out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Wood instead of the bailiff in the presence of Thos Bridge and Jn Ancell the lord's customary tenants and others the same witnessing one parcel of land sometime parcel of the lord's waste lying at Colfordhill upon which one Wm Swattocke hath lately builded one swinesty containing in length 13ft and breadth 12ft as in the court here holden the 19.6.12Eliz1 more plainly appeareth to the use and behoof of Edm Potter his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and prayed himself to be admitted thereto and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore before due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant thereof
