it is found by the homage that Rich Prentice out of the court since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Wood instead of the bailiff in the presence of Thos Bridge and Jn Ancell the lord's customary tenants and others the same witnessing the reversion of the half of one cottage with a yard adjoining called Coopes lying at Colfordhill between the messuage sometime Steph Miller's of the one part and the garden late Jn Wright's of the other part one head abutting upon the highway leading from Colne aforesaid towards Colchester when it shall happen by and after the death of one Agnes Man the wife of Thos Man as in the court here holden on monday 19.6.12Eliz1 more at large appeareth to the use and behoof of Edm Potter his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and prayed himself to be admitted thereto and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him and his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services and he giveth fine and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant thereof
