in the last court with the leet of this year it appeareth that Robt Pierson lying in extremity out of court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Jn Churche instead of the bailiff in the presence of Robt Reade and Jn Greene the lord's customary tenants and others the same witnessing the reversion of a croft of customary land called Walnuttecroft containing 4a of land by estimation when it shall fall by and after the death of Joan his wife to the use and performance of the testament and last will of the same Robt as in the said court appeareth and the same Joan being now required to show by what title she entered into the said croft came by Robt Reade her attorney and took day until the next court to show etc and it is granted her
