it is found in the court of 27Eliz1 that Thos Underwood took to him and his heirs by copy three crofts of land called Wallefields with appurtenances in Colne aforesaid as by meets and bounds they are divided as appeareth in the court here holden the 19.6.12Eliz1 and are holden by fealty suit of court and rent of by the year and one tenement with a garden adjoining called Gooldesgate as by meets and bounds they are divided of the surrender of Thos Warner by fealty suit of court and rent of by the year and the same Thos came here to this court and showed a copy made of that roll and acknowledged himself to be tenant thereof by the services aforesaid
