to this court came Wm Scydaie gentleman son and heir of Wm Sydaie gentleman in his proper person and made fealty to the lord for his manor called Goldingtons alias Kitchenfield with appurtenances in Colne Engaine in the county of Essex late of Giles Capell and Hen Capell knights and before of Wm Capell esq which he claimeth to hold of the lord as of this manor by fealty suit of court and rent of 5s and 1lb of cumin and being required to pay to the lord 5s and 1lb of cumin for a relief due by the death of the said Wm Scydaie his father he saith that the said relief was not due by his death and for proof thereof showed the will of the said Wm his father bearing date the 8.10.8Eliz1 by which he devised that manor with appurtenances to the said Wm Sydaie his son and Mary the wife of him the said Wm the son for term of their lives and the longer liver of them for the jointure of the same Mary on condition that she shall claim no dower of the manor lands and tenements of her late husband the remainder thereof after the deaths of the said Wm and Mary and the longer liver of them to Sam Scydaie the elder son of the said Wm and Mary for term of his life the remainder thereof after the death of the said     to the eldest son of the said     lawfully begotten and the heirs male of the body of the said eldest son lawfully begotten the remainder thereof for default of such issue male to the heirs male of the same     lawfully begotten and the heirs male of their bodies lawfully begotten the remainder thereof for default of such issue to the heirs of the said Wm Scydaie the son and the heirs male of their bodies lawfully be gotten the remainder thereof for default of such issue to the right heirs of the said Wm Sydaie the son for ever
