was admitted the lord's tenant to him and his heirs to a cottage with a garden adjoining with their appurtenances called

as by meets and bounds it is more fully divided and shown etc now the homage aforesaid present that out of this court and since the last court the foresaid

surrendered all and singular the premises with appurtenances into the lord's hands by the hands of
Wm Loveney
instead of the bailiff in the presence of
Thos Allen
and
Rich Heyward
two customary tenants of this manor the same witnessing according to the custom of the manor to the use and behoof of
Joan Marche
his wife during the term of her life and after her decease then to the use of
Barth Marche
son of
Robt Marche
of Bellcham St Paul and his heirs for ever which

died since the last court whereupon now came the foresaid

and prayed to be admitted the lord's tenant of the premises to which

here present in court at his humble request there is seisin of the premises delivered to have and to hold to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services and customs therefore due and of right accustomed and he made fealty with the lord and is admitted tenant thereof
