to a cottage with a garden adjoining with appurtenances sometime of

deceased as by the copy of the roll of this same manor brought and shown here in court more at large appeareth now the homage aforesaid present that the aforesaid

died seised of such estate in the premises and that
Jn Grigges
is son and next heir of the foresaid

being here present in court humbly prayed to be admitted the lord's tenant of the premises as his right and inheritance and because it appeareth that his claim is true therefore the lord by his steward aforesaid at his humble petition granted seisin thereof to have and to hold to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor aforesaid by the rents services and customs therefore due and of right accustomed and he made fine and fealty and was admitted the lord's tenant thereof
