relief 2s8dalso they say that Robt Knight died seised of and in one parcel of land called Bearcroft containing by estimation 1a1r of land more or less lying in the town of Colne aforesaid viz between the land of Geo Beeston of the one part and a way called Church Lane on the other part one head thereof abutting on a garden once Jn Sonningwell late in the tenure of Nich Banburie against the north the other head abutting on a way called Bearcroft Lane to the south late land of Jn Pennock and Geo Pennock and before of Alice Harvy widow Rich Baynham and Thos Awdleigh gentleman held of this manor by fealty suit of court and the rent per annum of 2s8d and that Jn Knight is aged 12years and is his eldest son and next heir therefore the lord is owed a relief of 2s8d which the bailiff is to levy
