his wife were admitted tenants of the lord for themselves and the heirs of the said

as shown by copy of the court roll now at this court it is shown that the aforesaid

for divers years and that before his death he surrendered into the hands of the lord according to the custom of the manor aforesaid the aforesaid croft of land with appurtenances by the hands of
Hen Abbott
instead of the bailiff in the presence of

and
Thos Leffingwell
two customary tenants according to the custom of the manor aforesaid to the work and use of
Joan
his wife for the term of her life to remain after her death to

Edm Pierson
his sons and their heirs forever which
