fine 32swhereas at a view with court here held of saturday 22.9.41Eliz1 Robt Pierson and Edm Pierson were admitted tenants of the lord to themselves and their heirs to a reversion of a croft of land called Wallnutcroft with appurtenances after the death of Joan Pierson widow late wife of Robt Pierson now dead as shown by copy of court roll now it appears to the homage aforesaid that after the last court and out of court the aforesaid Edm Pierson surrendered all his part purport reversion and interest in the aforesaid premises with appurtenances into the hands of the lord by the hands of Francis Newton instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Church and Jn Pierson two customary tenants of this manor witnessing according to the custom of the manor aforesaid to the work and use of Hen Birde and his heirs and afterwards they present that before the last court the aforesaid Robt Pierson similarly surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Aylett instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Pierson and Hen Abbott junior two customary tenants of this manor witnessing according to the custom of the manor aforesaid all his reversion part purport and interest of and in the aforesaid croft of land called Wallnutcroft with appurtenances to the work and use of Hen Birde and his heirs which Hen present here in the court was granted seisin to have and to hold to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor aforesaid by the rents services and customs before owed and of right accustomed and he made fine and was admitted tenant
