eighteen item were you heretofore present at any reference at sir Jn Tindall's chamber from the late lord chancellor the lord Ellesmere of the differences between the plaintiff Rose and the defendant Harlakenden's late father touching the wrongs done the plaintiff by some false entries in the court rolls of the manor of Earls Colne and Colne Priory and the said defendant's said father at that reference promise the said plaintiff Rose that his said rolls should be amended and made right or what words did the said old mr Harlakenden then use to that purpose set them down as near as you can remember them and what was done agreed and concluded on at the said reference and were the said differences then and thereupon ended between the plaintiff and the said old mr Harlakenden
