seven that the said complainant Rose after the decease of Jeff Cuckoe her first husband did enjoy all that the close or parcel of wood ground called Curds Grove being parcel of the said copyhold lands now in question the space of many years until such time as she the said Rose did sell and surrender some part of the said grove viz about 6a thereof unto the said defendant Rich Harlakenden about six or seven years since but the said complainant Rose and her now husband Rosse do still hold and enjoy the said residue of the said close or grove and this deponent saith he taketh it that the said defendant Harlakenden came first to the possession of the said 6a parcel of the said close or grove by surrender thereof unto him by the said complainant Rose in reversion and by force of the above condition that he shall quietly enjoy the same as this deponent verily believeth or thinketh
