eighteen that he was not present at the reference in this interrogatory mentioned and therefore upon knowledge cannot say anything certain or material to the questions of this interrogatory but saith that he this deponent chanced to come unto sir Jn Tindall's chamber about the time that the master Jn Tindall had according to the said reference heard the difference between the plaintiff Rose and the said Roger Harlakenden touching certain wrongs supposed to be done by the said Roger unto her the said Rose by some false entries in the court rolls of the manors of Earls Colne and Colne Priory and this deponent there and then meeting one Jn Aylemore gentleman a follower of or a retainer unto the said late earl of Oxford demanded of him what was done in that matter and he answered saying "all is done they have made an end of the business" or to that effect but this deponent did not hear anything of the said business nor was present at the handling thereof neither can he any further depose to the contents of this interrogatory nor more etc Hen Abbott
