three that he never to his now remembrance heard the complainant Rose Rosse complain of any hurt or prejudice received by her inheritance or any the copyhold messuages lands and tenements held of the said manor by false entries made in the court rolls of the said manor of Earls Colne and Colne Priory only he hath heard her say she had been wronged in copies and evidences neither hath he ever heard the said defendant Rich Harlakenden or his father Roger Harlakenden promise the plaintiff that any false entries in the said court rolls should be amended nor remembreth that he ever heard conference between the plaintiff Rose and the defendant or his said father to such or the like purpose
