four that it is very true that the said mr Cooke was steward unto Roger Harlakenden esq deceased of his manor of Earls Colne in the said county of Essex upon 18.9.31Eliz1 for at that time this deponent was one of the said mr Cooke's clerks and he saith that upon the said 18.9.31Eliz1 he the said mr Cooke did keep a court for the said manor of Earls Colne as by the records of that court may appear
