to the first interrogatory saith that he knoweth Edw Rosse gentleman and Rose his wife named for defendants in this suit and Ralph Lunt and Prudence his wife named for complainants and hath known the said defendant Rose for these fifty years past or thereabouts and the other defendant for certain years past and the complainants in this suit this deponent saith that he hath known for divers years past and also saith that he did know Robt Partridge deceased in the article named when he was living late husband of the defendant Rose and did know the said Robt Partridge for the space of thirty six years or thereabouts before his decease
