to the twenty fifth he says that after the time he Harlakenden had told Edes he should enjoy the lease in reversion if he could make proof thereof by the witnesses therein named and Edes had replied to do it he Harlakenden before 17.5.last did confer with and persuade Sam Diglett the elder to hold and keep possession of the mill according to the lease thereof before made to him by Harlakenden further Harlakenden did covenant to save harmless Sam Diglett on that behalf as he thinks and he says that he did not at any time before 17.5.last confer with Jn Cooper and Thos Anderson or any other touching the keeping and taking possession of the mill neither did he by word or anything persuade or entreat mr Thos Waldgrave or mr Tiffin to aid and assist him or any other person who should take and keep possession of the mill mr Tiffin advised Harlakenden that he or any other person in the defense assist or aid them lawfully to take possession of the mill as is supposed
