this is the final agreement made in the court of the king at Westminster in the octave of st martin 1634 before the justices Jn Finch Rich Hutton Geo Vernon and Francis Crawley# and others faithful to the king then there present between Jn Jacob knight plaintiff and Rich Harlakenden esq Thos Harlakenden gentleman and Wm Harlakenden gentleman and Smithee his wife all deforciants of one messuage one garden and two orchards together and 110a land and 2a meadow 40a pasture and 14a wood with appurtenances in Earls Colne concerning which a plea of covenant has been summoned between them in the same court namely that the aforesaid Rich Thos and Wm and Smithee have recognized the aforesaid tenement with appurtenances to be the right of the same Jn as that which the same Jn had of the gift of the aforesaid Rich Thos and Wm and Smithee and they remise it and quitclaim for the aforesaid Rich Thos and Wm and Smithee and their heirs to the aforesaid Jn and his heirs forever and moreover the same Rich for himself and his heirs has granted that they themselves warrant to the aforesaid Jn and his heirs the aforesaid tenement with appurtenances against the aforesaid Rich and his heirs forever and furthermore the same Thos for himself and his heirs has granted that they themselves warrant to the aforesaid Jn and his heirs the aforesaid tenement with appurtenances against the aforesaid Thos and his heirs forever and also the same Wm and Smithee for themselves and for the heirs of Wm have granted that they themselves will warrant to the aforesaid Jn and his heirs the aforesaid tenement with appurtenances against the aforesaid Wm and Smithee and the heirs of Wm himself forever and for this acknowledgement remise quitclaim warrant fine and agreement the same Jn has given to the aforesaid Rich Thos and Wm and Smithee 200li sterling
