(note by the copiers) there is no date to this letter it is all in the same handwriting and part is torn off where we should think there was formerly a seal it is endorsed besides the address which appears to be in the same handwriting as the =i=====ds of the letter "the countess of Oxford's letter to the lords on behalf of Adams and of keeping the school at Earls Colne" the endorsement to this letter and to the first are evidently very old and written by the same person and from comparison of the writing we believe they were both written by mr Geo Cressener who took of the earl of Oxford
