know all men by these presents that I Thos Chatterton late of Earls Colne joiner remise relax and for all my heirs and assigns forever quitclaim to Thos Cawche of Earls Colne aforesaid carpenter his heirs and assigns in full and peaceful possession existing all my whole claim state interest and demand which I have or have in the future or for my heirs of one tenement and a garden adjoining and all lands to the said tenement belonging called Warkemans lying situate and being in Earls Colne aforesaid between a tenement once Jn Senold late Thos Rothe now of Rich Rothe senior to the east part and a tenement new built on the west one head abuts on a croft of land called Cowescroft on the north and the o ther head abuts on the way leading to Halstead from Colchester to the south that I Thos Chatterton nor my heirs etc will have any right in the same dated Earls Colne 5.12.5Eliz1
