Jn Kendall of Earls Colne to undergo further process and twelve parishioners were to enquire the truth of the detection and Thos Leppingwell and Robt Rooks churchwardens there (Earls Colne) were to examine him in this case the churchwardens appeared and on their oath deny that so far as they knoweth or have heard the said Jn Kendall is not suspected of incontinent life with Thos Kendall's wife or that ever they heard any fame or suspicion of the matter then Kendall brought letters of his good opinion therefore the judge dismissed him
