witnesseth that

churchwardens and

junior overseers of the poor of Earls Colne with the consent of
Jn Cressener
and
Jn Eldred
esq two justices of the peace have by these presents put and bound
Wm Sexton
aged 15yrs being a poor fatherless and motherless child apprentice to and with
Jn Wistoe
of Wakes Colne yeoman and as an apprentice to dwell and serve from and after the date hereof until the said
Wm Sexton
come to the age of twenty four years during all which time he shall serve his master etc and

covenants to allow him meat and drink etc and after the term to give him two decent suits of apparel etc
