in the name of god amen the 12.7.1623 I Margt Manners of Earls Colne in the county of Essex widow do ordain and make my testament containing therein my last will in manner and form following first I commit my soul into the hands of almighty god who created me and to jesus christ who redeemed me and to the holy ghost who sanctified me and my body to the earth from whence it came to be decently buried by my daughter Thomasine Tadmore imprimis I give to Wm Manners my son 12d of good current money of England to be paid to him seven days after my burial item I give to Jn my son my brass pot to be delivered unto him seven days after my burial and also I give him my best chair a pair of canvas sheets item I give to Peter Manners my son a pair of canvas sheets all my wood in the yard item I give to Margt Manners his eldest daughter my table in the hall item I give to Xian Manners my son a pair of canvas sheets item I give to Eliz Clark my daughter's daughter a flockbed a bolster and a covering item I give to Mary Manners my son Wm's daughter only the biggest kettle item I give to Jn Manners my son Wm's son a honght# item I give to Wm Manners my son Wm Manners son a pot posnet item I give to Peter my son Wm's son my biggest platter
